8th of August marks a milestone for the Airpixel team as they premiere the showing of “Airpixel: The Journey” at Dadi Cinema located at Pavilion Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
“Airpixel: The Journey” showcases the 90-minute making-of documentary about the creation of groundbreaking drone film “AirPixel 8K Kuala Lumpur Drone Film, Negaraku”
The event was a collaboration with Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and University of Central Lancashire, in a way as a tribute to all Malaysians as the team was greatly encouraged by the warm reception from viewers, expressing their love for the drone film showcasing our beloved city.
The AirPixel: The Journey event is also an initiative to educate the public about the importance of civic drones in Malaysia's development, to allow industry practitioners and academic institutions to exchange applied knowledge and research findings in drone technology, and to support our local filmmaking industry and raise the younger generation‘s awareness about patriotism and national identity.
